Moose Monday

This is by far one of my favorite pictures of Moose.  However, it's definitely not as sweet as it looks.  Moose and Bentley were sitting side by side and I thought that was cute enough so I went to take a picture and right before I did Bentley started to jump on Moose's back and this was the picture that resulted.

Tostadas and Ta-tas

I just want to say thank you to all the classy moms out there.  I have several good friends and a wonderful cousin-in-law that are now parents and I know for a fact that none of these beautiful, classy ladies would have ever done what I was unfortunate enough to witness today.

I was sitting at On the Border at lunch enjoying some tortilla soup when I thought, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a large mound of flesh in my peripheral vision.  I thought "surely not".... so I turned to my right, not expecting to have my eyes confirm my worst fear.  Sure enough.  Not only was I having lunch, but apparently the baby at the next table was as well.  Awk. Ward.

And we're not talking about a baby discreetly underneath the shirt, or a baby enjoying lunch while under the cover of an OTB napkin (because I totally understand that sometimes it's a necessity).  We are talking her entire shirt and bra hiked up and boob out in public in all its glory.  And I am talking the kind of glory I will never understand. This woman had no shortage of endowment.

I mean, this day and age there is no need for PDA (public display of areola) there are all sorts of products on the market... I so wanted to tap her on the shoulder and suggest a hooter hider or a slurp n' burp but I just could look her in the face after seeing her ta-tas over our tostadas.

Introducing... Moose Mondays!

I always seem to have an abundance of cute, hilarious, adorable, and/or sometimes degrading pictures of the Moose. I have also gotten some negative feedback on my lack of blogging lately. (and by negative feedback, I mean Erika yelling at me.) So to remind myself to blog at least once a week, I'm starting a new feature... MOOSE MONDAYS!! (I'm fully aware it's Wednesday, but I just figured out you can back date posts, so look at the top... it says Monday!)

Every Monday I will be posting a new picture of him. I figured I would start off with a doozy. This is a picture that was sent to me by Alex a couple weeks ago while I was at work. When we're gone we keep him cooped up in the kitchen so he will stay out of mischief. Well she had gotten home and apparently someone left the pantry door open. All hopes of Moose staying out of mischief go out the window when he has full access to a smorgasbord of things to explore in the pantry. (yep, I just used "smorgasbord" in a blog post, you know you liked it.)
Uh huh, he had himself a little pantry party. He ripped up boxes of coke, big red (feel free to make fun of me... I know you're going to, but I swear I'm not the only one that likes big red... they wouldn't still be in production from my purchases alone!!), he tore apart the boxes that had the foil, saran wrap, and wax paper (this is really fun, because without the boxes with the little teeth, we now have to cut the saran wrap with scissors. Awesome.) and ate a few jalapeno tortillas. The tortillas upset his little tummy which I thought was hilarious karma in full force until I was cleaning throw up off the couch. Not. Cool.

The most fun part of this whole experience is that Alex thought it was so funny and wanted to take a picture with him in the middle of it to send to me at work. Notice how you can't see his tail in the picture? That's because it was wagging too fast. Why would he be wagging his tail when he was in trouble you ask? Well, that's because Alex was holding up a TREAT! So instead of being scolded, he was rewarded. So now guess what? He thinks this is not only totally acceptable, but ENCOURAGED. Great parenting, Al. Can't wait till you have kids. ;)

Thanksgiving week in pictures....

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was very relaxing, with not a whole lot going on other than eating, hanging out, and eating some more. We celebrated my Papaw's 80th birthday on Thanksgiving day and had a wonderful turkey day dinner.

My mom has finally realized that I really can cook after all, so this was the first year that she turned over the reigns to a few things to me. Well, I guess just the pecan pie, but that's okay... baby steps. I decided to post pictures from throughout the week instead of boring you with witty banter. Well, if I'm being honest, I'm just too brain dead from work to come up with witty banter, but doesn't it sound sweeter that I'm looking out for the interest of my dear blog readers? I thought so too.
Here is Clint trying his luck at Wii Fit Yoga. Considering we went through about three bottles of wine, I'd say he's doing pret-ty well balancing on one leg on a small platform, wouldn't you? He did get a little ticked off when the thing told him his Wii Fit age was like 82 though. Sheesh, they get so sensitive after that 30th birthday, don't they?
Fun with Photobooth. I think Clint spent a good hour and half playing with this thing. I hope his new job doesn't use macs because he will get NOTHING done.
Clint and Moose ready for the Cowboys game!

Me and the birthday boy playing with Photobooth!
Saturday alex and I decided to decorate for Christmas. We got halfway through putting the lights on the tree when we realized we needed more lights. Three hours and $180 later we left Target with lights, stockings, a DIY gingerbread house kit, ribbon, wrapping paper, a tree stand, Christmas m&m's and most importantly, a Mrs. Clause outfit for Maddie (Moose already has a santa outfit, of course). Maddie is currently visiting her grandma in Fort Worth, so Moose had to sub-in as the model until she returns home.
The front view. I swear this dog must hate me.
The results of our labor... Our kitchen Christmas tree.
View of the kitchen decorations. Yes, Alex was using the Santa potholder as a puppet. Who knows...
And the living room with our main tree and stockings. We got little stockings for Maddie and Moose. :) And you can kind of see the lights on our balcony in the background.

Monday and Tuesday back at work have been insanely busy, but it was a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving break that made it worth it!!
