You can scrap that whole "things I am loving" post from yesterday because shortly after it was written, I got a call that trumped the whole dang thing.  My very fun news of the week month is that...

I haven't been on a non-wedding related vacation in FOREVER so I am beyond excited.

One of the perks of being an ad agency are the incentive trips that a few of the media outlets have every year. They basically plan these swanky trips and invite clients that spend a certain amount of money. The first quarter trip with CBS is to Hawaii.

Bossdad made me his partner this year so he suggested that my mom and I go! We'll be staying at the Four Seasons on Maui for six days. The trip is centered around golf, but they have different activities you can do every day if you're not a golfer (which we aren't). I'm not sure how it works yet, but some of the options are helicopter tours, spa treatments, whale watching and snorkeling trips, zip-lining, surfing lessons etc. They also have nightly events like cocktail hours, luaus and dinners on the beach. And everything is paid for.

One thing I know for sure is that I'm definitely going to cross #5 off my 30x30 list and put my scuba certification to good use (finally!). I'd love to cross #2 off as well... it would be amazing to skydive over the islands, but I doubt I'll be able to convince The Dot to jump out of a plane with me. I have a month and a half to try, so we'll see!

I guess it's time to make the gym my second home... I definitely wasn't planning on being in a bikini in January!
